THE STYLING

I think people tend to underestimate the beauty of their own outdoor living areas. Hosting a celebration party doesn’t have to be at a high-end venue - you can achieve that same ‘wow’ factor in your own backyard! Take advantage of your beautiful outdoor space for a memorable and intimate celebration.

I opted for a more sophisticated, stripped back tablescape to allow the surrounding nature to shine. I utilised pinks, yellows and natural tones to compliment the outdoor scenery, plus embraced natural elements including branches and flowers into my table decor.

It was an honour to collaborate with Floral + Frozen for such a stylish and unique blooming twist on your typical ice bucket and ice-cubes. It was the perfect addition to this beautiful party scene! Trust me, you’ll want this for your next event (scroll down to see more!)


THE CAKE

I’ve been so eager these last few months to get creative with edible flowers and my local florist Your Flower Concierge delivered on some beautiful edible and organic blooms for me!

Initially I thought to scatter these beautiful flowers over a simple buttercream cake, but I quickly realised I wanted to push my creativity further and take my design to the next level.

I decided to switch to my favourite medium - fondant! - and applied a gorgeous watercolour wash, which I paired with gold leaf and textured royal icing detail.

The end result? A beautiful and refined celebration cake that complemented my elegant garden party scene!
