Splendid Easter Brunch
Easter is only a hop, skip and a jump away and it’s time to get planning your sweet treats and themed tablescapes!
One of my favourite things about Easter decor is that it takes its inspiration from spring (my best-loved season), which I enjoyed embracing into my Easter tablescape and cake design.
I hope this lovely spring-inspired Easter scene encourages you to embrace florals and the greenery from your own backyard!

THE INSPIRATION
Influenced by my inspiration of spring, I wanted to bring an element of nature to my indoor dining space, so I decided to adorn the table and surrounding areas with greenery from my garden. Not only was this such an effortless centerpiece, it also really breathed life into my space.
I’m guilty of pink being my ‘go-to’ colour, but I couldn’t help but feature pink at the forefront of my colour scheme for its joyous and playful nature. Paired with pops of yellow, it helps to break up the intensity of the greenery and bring playfulness to the tablescape.
And lastly, who could forget the eggs? Speckled eggs were literally thrown around the table to add some simple and cheerful Easter fun!
THE CAKE
Watercolour florals paired with a ruffle wafer paper flower, simply embraces the pretty playfulness of spring. The organic black brush strokes provide beautiful definition and shape to the watercolour flowers, reminding me of the charming illustrations that can be found in children’s books.
