THE STYLING
I found myself caught between two exciting options for styling this tropical party: the lively and playful vibe of artificial fruit, flamingos and blow-up pools, versus the sophisticated elegance of palms and fresh fruit for a more upscale aesthetic. But you know what? I couldn't resist the urge to have the best of both worlds! (My party, my choice, right?)
I simply love how the fresh fruit are nestled in the palm leaves, which refuse to lie flat, but ultimately gives the tablescape a natural and organic aesthetic. In contrast, the fun flamingo pool floaty and stunning balloon garland ensures this will be a party to remember!

THE CAKE
After so much brainstorming, one cake concept had me completely captivated; an impressive 3D pineapple cake. When I think of the word ‘tropical’, fruit immediately comes to mind and I just couldn’t shake this idea.
My goal was to bring the true essence of a pineapple to life in the form of a cake, aiming for a semi-realistic finish. Every little detail mattered - from the intricate patterns, markings and the golden hues, it all played into bringing this cake to life!
